Interpretation of Romans Chapter 6 Verse 20

In Romans 6:20, Paul is reminding us that when we were living in sin, we were free from having to obey God’s laws and submit to His righteousness. We had no obligations to Him, and so we felt liberated in our sinful choices. However, Paul is warning us that living in sin is not a sustainable lifestyle and that it will ultimately lead to pain and destruction. He encourages us to forsake sin and instead choose to serve God, so that we may experience true freedom in obedience to His righteousness.
