The Bible in Romans Chapter 6 Verse 11 says:
Even so reckon ye also yourselves to be dead unto sin, but alive unto God in Christ Jesus.
Interpretation of Romans Chapter 6 Verse 11
In Romans 6:11, Paul urges the believers to consider themselves dead to sin and alive to God in Christ Jesus. He encourages them to live according to the Spirit, rather than the flesh, and to no longer be enslaved to the power of sin. In other words, believers should focus their attention on spiritual matters rather than worldly concerns and be obedient to God, who has given them a new life through Jesus Christ. By being dead to sin and alive to God, they can experience the freedom and joy found in a life of faith and obedience.
