Philippians 4:18
The Bible in Philippians Chapter 4 Verse 18 says:
But I have all things, and abound: I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things [that came] from you, and odor of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.
Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 4 Verse 18
In Philippians 4:18, Paul is thanking the church in Philippi for their generous financial gifts to him. He says that he has received everything he needs and more, and that the gift was like a pleasing aroma to God. He goes on to say that he is content with whatever he has, and that he has learned the secret to being content in all circumstances. He encourages the Philippians to do the same.
