Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 3 Verse 4

Paul is speaking to the Philippians and reminding them to not put their trust in their own accomplishments or abilities. He says that even though he himself could take pride in his accomplishments, he recognizes that this confidence should not be placed in one’s own efforts. He says that even if someone else has confidence in their own fleshly accomplishments, he has more. Paul is telling the Philippians to instead rely on God for their confidence and trust in Him to work through them.
