Philippians 3:3
The Bible in Philippians Chapter 3 Verse 3 says:
for we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God, and glory in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh:
Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 3 Verse 3
Philippians 3:3 is Paul’s encouragement to the believers in Philippi to not be proud of their physical circumcision, which was the sign of the Old Covenant, but to focus on being circumcised in their hearts, in their very being, through the Spirit of God. He tells them to put their confidence in Christ Jesus instead of relying on their own efforts or accomplishments, and to worship and glory in him. He is reminding them that the life of faith is a life of spiritual transformation and renewal, not a life of outward observances.
