Philippians 3:12
The Bible in Philippians Chapter 3 Verse 12 says:
Not that I have already obtained, or am already made perfect: but I press on, if so be that I may lay hold on that for which also I was laid hold on by Christ Jesus.
Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 3 Verse 12
In this verse, Paul is reminding the people of Philippi that he has not yet reached perfection. Despite this, he is determined to strive and work hard to reach the point of perfection that was laid out for him by Jesus. He is pressing on and striving to reach a higher level of holiness and faith, and to be able to lay hold of the goal that has been set for him by Christ. He is determined and motivated to reach this level of faith and holiness by continually working and pressing on, despite not yet having obtained perfection.
