Philippians 2:8
The Bible in Philippians Chapter 2 Verse 8 says:
and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient [even] unto death, yea, the death of the cross.
Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 2 Verse 8
In Philippians 2:8, the author is referring to Jesus’ humble submission to God’s will. Jesus, who was in the form of God, humbled himself and became like a man. He was obedient even to death, even the death of the cross, which was the most shameful and despised death at the time. By humbling himself and accepting such a death, Jesus showed his absolute obedience and loyalty to God, and in doing so, was able to save us from sin and death.
