Philippians Chapter 2 Verse 6

Philippians 2:6

The Bible in Philippians Chapter 2 Verse 6 says:

who, existing in the form of God, counted not the being on an equality with God a thing to be grasped,

Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 2 Verse 6

In Philippians 2:6, Paul is referring to Jesus Christ, who was in the form of God and had all of the same rights and privileges as God, but He did not consider it something to be taken advantage of or abused. Instead, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Jesus showed us what true humility looks like and reminds us that we should not think too highly of ourselves or seek to take advantage of our positions in life.
