Philippians 2:16

The Bible in Philippians Chapter 2 Verse 16 says:

holding forth the word of life; that I may have whereof to glory in the day of Christ, that I did not run in vain neither labor in vain.

Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 2 Verse 16

In Philippians 2:16, Paul is encouraging the believers in Philippi to continue living out their faith and spreading the word of life. He acknowledges how hard they have worked and how much effort they have put in to live out the gospel, and he wants them to know that their hard work and dedication will not go unrewarded, as they will be rewarded when Christ returns. Paul expresses his hope that he himself will have something to glory in on that day, and that neither his running nor his labor will have been in vain.
