and in nothing affrighted by the adversaries: which is for them an evident token of perdition, but of your salvation, and that from God;

Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 1 Verse 28

Philippians 1:28 is a reminder from Paul to the believers in the Church of Philippi to not be afraid or intimidated by their enemies. He encourages them to remain strong in their faith, as it is a sign of their salvation from God and a sign of their enemies’ destruction. Paul further reminds them that God will protect them and that their enemies will be judged and destroyed.
