Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 1 Verse 23
Philippians 1:23 speaks of Paul’s inner struggle between the desire to remain on earth and continue his work of spreading the gospel and the desire to be with Christ in Heaven. He expresses that it would be far better to be with Christ in Heaven, but he has the same desire to stay and continue his work on earth. He is in a dilemma between two desires, and it is a struggle to choose one over the other.
