Philippians 1:22
The Bible in Philippians Chapter 1 Verse 22 says:
But if to live in the flesh, –[if] this shall bring fruit from my work, then what I shall choose I know not.
Interpretation of Philippians Chapter 1 Verse 22
In Philippians 1:22, Paul is expressing his uncertainty in deciding between living and dying. He acknowledges that if he continues to live he will be able to continue doing God’s work and produce fruit, but he does not know what the right choice is for him. He is willing to accept whatever the Lord’s will for him is, but he is not yet sure what that is. Paul’s faith is evident in his willingness to accept whatever God has planned for him, and this passage serves as an example of the importance of trusting in God’s plan and not trying to control our own destinies.
