Interpretation of Philemon Chapter 1 Verse 8
In this verse, Paul is writing to Philemon and speaking about the boldness he has in Christ to tell him what is right and proper. He is asking Philemon to act in accordance with the teachings of Christ and to treat others with the same grace and mercy that Jesus showed. Paul is reminding Philemon that he has the authority to ask him to do this because of the power of Christ, and he trusts that Philemon will obey and live according to God’s will.
