Malachi Chapter 3 Verse 5

Malachi 3:5

The Bible in Malachi Chapter 3 Verse 5 says:

And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the sojourner [from his right], and fear not me, saith Jehovah of hosts.

Interpretation of Malachi Chapter 3 Verse 5

In Malachi 3:5, God declares that He will come near to judge those who have done wrong. He will be a swift witness against those who practice sorcery, commit adultery, bear false witness, take advantage of the poor and marginalized, and those who do not fear Him. He promises justice for the oppressed, and warns that those who do not fear Him will be punished. God’s justice will bring an end to inequality and oppression of the vulnerable.
