Malachi Chapter 2 Verse 17

Malachi 2:17

The Bible in Malachi Chapter 2 Verse 17 says:

Ye have wearied Jehovah with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? In that ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of Jehovah, and he delighteth in them; or where is the God of justice?

Interpretation of Malachi Chapter 2 Verse 17

In Malachi 2:17, God is chastising the people of Israel for speaking words that tire him out. He tells them that they are claiming that everyone who does evil is good in God’s sight and that He delights in them. God then asks them where is the God of justice if that is true. He is reminding them that He is a just and righteous God who does not approve of evil and does not delight in it. By questioning their words, he is admonishing them for their lack of faith and trust in Him.
