Malachi 2:13
The Bible in Malachi Chapter 2 Verse 13 says:
And this again ye do: ye cover the altar of Jehovah with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, neither receiveth it with good will at your hand.
Interpretation of Malachi Chapter 2 Verse 13
In this passage from Malachi, God is rebuking the people for their lack of devotion to Him. He tells them that their tears and sorrow are not enough to make up for their lack of obedience to Him. He will no longer accept their offerings of sacrifice and will not show them favor. God is reminding them that He expects more from them than just sadness and sorrow and that He will not be fooled by outward displays of emotion when the heart is not truly devoted to Him.
