Luke 4:43
The Bible in Luke Chapter 4 Verse 43 says:
But he said unto them, I must preach the good tidings of the kingdom of God to the other cities also: for therefore was I sent.
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 4 Verse 43
In this passage, Jesus is speaking to a crowd in his hometown. He has just finished teaching in the synagogue, and the people are amazed by his words. However, Jesus tells them that he must preach the good news of the kingdom of God to other cities as well, because it is part of his mission. This is a reminder that Jesus is not only here to serve his hometown, but must reach out to all of humanity with the message of God’s kingdom. He is showing the people that their faith should not remain local, but spread throughout the world.
