Interpretation of Luke Chapter 4 Verse 28
In Luke 4:28, Jesus had just finished teaching in the synagogue in his hometown of Nazareth. His words of wisdom and power had filled the people with amazement, but when he claimed that he was the promised Messiah, they became filled with anger and wrath. They could not believe that this son of a carpenter could be their savior, and they drove him out of town. Jesus humbly accepted their rejection, and continued on his mission to spread the word of God.
