Luke 4:13
The Bible in Luke Chapter 4 Verse 13 says:
And when the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him for a season.
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 4 Verse 13
In Luke 4:13, Jesus has just completed a period of forty days of fasting in the desert, during which time he was tempted by the devil. After Jesus successfully resisted all the temptations, the devil departed from him “for a season”. This phrase is used to denote a period of time in which the devil will not tempt Jesus any more, but it is not known how long that period will be. Jesus then returned to Galilee, where he began to preach the Good News of the Kingdom of God.
