Luke 11:40
The Bible in Luke Chapter 11 Verse 40 says:
Ye foolish ones, did not he that made the outside make the inside also?
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 40
In Luke 11:40, Jesus is teaching the people and using a metaphor to make a point. He is comparing the importance of outward appearance to inner purity. Jesus is saying that those who focus on outward appearance and neglect the inner life are foolish. He is telling them that the same God who created the outside of us also created the inside, and that we should focus on both.
