Luke 11:35
The Bible in Luke Chapter 11 Verse 35 says:
Look therefore whether the light that is in thee be not darkness.
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 35
In Luke 11:35, Jesus is teaching His disciples about spiritual discernment. He is warning them to be careful that the light of truth that they have received from Him does not become a source of darkness for them. In other words, Jesus is warning them to be careful not to let their own opinions and desires cloud their judgment and lead them away from the truth. He encourages them to examine their hearts to make sure they are still filled with the light of truth, and not the darkness of self-interest.
