Luke 11:31
The Bible in Luke Chapter 11 Verse 31 says:
The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and shall condemn them: for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, a greater than Solomon is here.
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 31
In this passage, Jesus is speaking to a group of people, comparing them to the Queen of Sheba. The Queen of Sheba traveled from the ends of the earth to seek out Solomon’s wisdom, and Jesus is telling this group of people that despite her efforts, a greater than Solomon is here. He is implying that they should have recognized him as the Messiah and should not be so quick to reject him. In the end, at the judgment, the Queen of Sheba will condemn them for their lack of faith.
