Interpretation of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 24
In Luke 11:24, Jesus explains that when an unclean spirit is driven out of a man, it seeks rest in waterless places, but finds none and so it returns to the house it came from. Jesus is teaching that when the evil spirit is expelled from a person’s life, it will try to return, but will be unable to find rest. Jesus is emphasizing the need for ongoing spiritual protection and the importance of being vigilant against the temptation to return to sin.
