Interpretation of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 2

In Luke 11:2, Jesus is teaching his disciples how to pray. He instructs them to begin by recognizing God as their Father and to honor him by declaring his name holy. They are to ask that his kingdom come and his will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Finally, Jesus urges them to ask for their daily needs and to forgive those who have wronged them. The prayer is a model for all believers, demonstrating reverence for God and reminding them of their dependence upon him.
