Luke 11:19
The Bible in Luke Chapter 11 Verse 19 says:
And if I by Beelzebub cast out demons, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 19
In this passage, Jesus is asking the Pharisees a challenging question. He is confronting their accusation that He is using the power of Beelzebub (the devil) to cast out demons. Jesus points out that if He is using demonic power to cast out demons, then why are their own sons, the exorcists, also doing it? Jesus implies that if the Pharisees cannot explain why their own sons are performing exorcisms, then their sons should be the ones to judge them. This is Jesus’ way of showing the Pharisees that He is using supernatural power from God, not the devil, to cast out demons.
