Luke 11:13
The Bible in Luke Chapter 11 Verse 13 says:
If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall [your] heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 13
This passage from Luke 11:13 is teaching us that even though humans are not perfect, we still know how to give good gifts to our children. Jesus is saying that if we, in our imperfection, can do this, then our Heavenly Father will give us even more when we ask for it. He is referring to the gift of the Holy Spirit, which is the power of God that helps us to live our lives according to His will. The message here is that if we ask God for the Holy Spirit, He will generously provide it to us.
