Luke 11:1
The Bible in Luke Chapter 11 Verse 1 says:
And it came to pass, as he was praying in a certain place, that when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, even as John also taught his disciples.
Interpretation of Luke Chapter 11 Verse 1
In this passage from the Gospel of Luke, Jesus is praying in a certain place when one of His disciples asks Him to teach them how to pray like John the Baptist taught his disciples. Jesus then answers the request and provides the disciples with the Lord’s Prayer. This is a powerful example of how Jesus desires to lead His followers in prayer and how they should approach it.
