John 5:5
The Bible in John Chapter 5 Verse 5 says:
And a certain man was there, who had been thirty and eight years in his infirmity.
Interpretation of John Chapter 5 Verse 5
John 5:5 is a part of the story of Jesus healing a paralyzed man at the Pool of Bethesda. According to the passage, there was a man who had been sick for 38 years, unable to walk. When Jesus saw him in his condition, he asked the man if he wanted to be healed. The man replied that he had no one to help him into the pool whenever the water was stirred, which was believed to be the only way to be healed. Jesus then told him to take up his mat and walk, and the man was immediately healed. This miracle demonstrated Jesus’ power to heal and showed that he could provide a miracle even without the man having to enter the pool.
