John 5:38
The Bible in John Chapter 5 Verse 38 says:
And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he sent, him ye believe not.
Interpretation of John Chapter 5 Verse 38
John 5:38 is Jesus speaking to the religious leaders of the time. He is telling them that despite the fact that He is the one sent by God, they do not believe in Him because His words do not abide in them. He is telling them that unless they believe in Him and put His words into practice, they will not know the truth.
