John 5:2 recounts a story from the Gospel of John, in which Jesus visits a pool in Jerusalem known as Bethesda, which had five porches. This pool was believed to have healing powers, and many sick people gathered around it hoping to be healed. Jesus healed a crippled man who had been waiting by the pool for 38 years, demonstrating His divine power.
