Interpretation of John Chapter 5 Verse 16

John 5:16 is a verse from the Bible, in which Jesus is being persecuted by the Jews for performing a healing on the Sabbath. Jesus had healed a man who had been ill for 38 years, and the Jews were angry that Jesus had broken their religious laws by performing a healing on the Sabbath. Jesus responds by telling them that it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, and that He is the Son of God and not subject to the same regulations. Jesus then goes on to say that He is the one who gives life, and that He is the giver of life eternal. The verse ends with Jesus declaring that He is the one who is the judge of all men.
