John 12:38
The Bible in John Chapter 12 Verse 38 says:
that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?
Interpretation of John Chapter 12 Verse 38
In John 12:38, Jesus is quoting from the book of Isaiah, which is a prophecy about how few people will accept the Lord’s message. Isaiah is asking why so few people have believed the Lord’s report and seen His power revealed. Jesus is using this to emphasize His point that many people do not believe in Him even though He has come to fulfill the prophecy. Jesus is also reminding the people that faith and trust in Him is the only way to be saved.
