John 12:3
The Bible in John Chapter 12 Verse 3 says:
Mary therefore took a pound of ointment of pure nard, very precious, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odor of the ointment.
Interpretation of John Chapter 12 Verse 3
In John 12:3, Mary, who had been a follower of Jesus, took a pound of pure nard ointment and anointed Jesus’ feet with it. She then wiped his feet with her hair, and the scent of the ointment filled the house. Mary was expressing her love and devotion to Jesus in a very extravagant way. This act of worship was so powerful that it was remembered long after Jesus’ death.
