John 12:27
The Bible in John Chapter 12 Verse 27 says:
Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour. But for this cause came I unto this hour.
Interpretation of John Chapter 12 Verse 27
In this passage, Jesus is in distress as he anticipates his impending death. He is asking God to save him from his current situation, yet he also realizes that it was his destiny to come to this hour. Despite the fear and uncertainty of what is to come, Jesus is accepting of his fate and is willing to go through with it for the greater good.
