Interpretation of John Chapter 12 Verse 25
In John 12:25, Jesus is speaking to a crowd of people, warning them of the consequences of loving their own lives too much. He states that those who prioritize their own life and pleasure too much will ultimately lose it, while those who are willing to put their own life at risk in order to follow God’s will will be rewarded with eternal life. In other words, Jesus is emphasizing the importance of self-sacrifice and obedience to God’s will in order to receive eternal life.
