John 12:24
The Bible in John Chapter 12 Verse 24 says:
Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a grain of wheat fall into the earth and die, it abideth by itself alone; but if it die, it beareth much fruit.
Interpretation of John Chapter 12 Verse 24
In this passage, Jesus is teaching that in order to bear much fruit, one must be willing to sacrifice and die to themselves. He is teaching that if we are willing to let go of our own desires and ambitions, we will be able to serve a greater purpose, and in doing so, bring forth much fruit. Jesus is encouraging us to give up our own desires and ambitions so that we may serve something greater. He is saying that if we are willing to die to ourselves and our own ambitions, we will bear much fruit.
