Interpretation of John Chapter 12 Verse 13
In John 12:13, Jesus was entering Jerusalem for the last time before His crucifixion. As He rode into the city, the people of Jerusalem took palm branches and went out to meet Him. They shouted “Hosanna” which means “save us now” and praised Jesus as the King of Israel. This event is known as the “Triumphal Entry.” This entry was a sign of the people’s acceptance of Jesus as their Messiah and King.
