James 4:5
The Bible in James Chapter 4 Verse 5 says:
Or think ye that the scripture speaketh in vain? Doth the spirit which he made to dwell in us long unto envying?
Interpretation of James Chapter 4 Verse 5
James 4:5 is reminding us that God’s word does not speak in vain. It is warning us not to be envious of others or to desire the things that we do not have. God has given us the Spirit to dwell in us, and it is not a spirit of envy. Instead, we should be thankful for all that we have and trust God to provide all that we need.
