James 4:4
The Bible in James Chapter 4 Verse 4 says:
Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.
Interpretation of James Chapter 4 Verse 4
James 4:4 is a warning to Christians not to be enamored with the world and its pleasures. In this verse, James is cautioning believers to be aware that any attachment to the world and its ways is a form of spiritual adultery and will separate them from God. He encourages them to focus on being friends with God instead of the world, for those who choose to be friends with the world will be enemies of God.
