Interpretation of James Chapter 4 Verse 3
James 4:3 is a warning against selfish desires. It teaches that when people ask God for something, they should be asking with a pure heart and not with the intention of using it for their own pleasures. This verse emphasizes that God will not give us what we ask for if we are asking with improper motives. It also warns against being too focused on material possessions and encourages us to focus on seeking God’s will.
