James 4:11
The Bible in James Chapter 4 Verse 11 says:
Speak not one against another, brethren. He that speaketh against a brother, or judgeth his brother, speaketh against the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
Interpretation of James Chapter 4 Verse 11
James 4:11 is a warning against gossip and judging others. It reminds us that when we judge our brothers or sisters in Christ, we are in effect judging the law of God, which is wrong. This verse encourages us to be slow to speak and to instead strive to be kind and gracious to one another.
