Interpretation of James Chapter 3 Verse 14
James 3:14 warns against the dangers of harboring envy, jealousy, and factionalism in one’s heart. It encourages believers to not be proud and to not lie in order to cover up the truth. It is a warning against allowing these negative emotions to take root and grow, as they can lead to conflict, deceit, and even violence. Ultimately, James urges us to focus on truth and love, rather than on pride and hatred.
