James 2:3
The Bible in James Chapter 2 Verse 3 says:
and ye have regard to him that weareth the fine clothing, and say, Sit thou here in a good place; and ye say to the poor man, Stand thou there, or sit under my footstool;
Interpretation of James Chapter 2 Verse 3
James 2:3 is a warning against displaying favoritism and treating people differently based on their clothing or wealth. James warns that when we show favoritism, we are sinning and going against God’s will. He encourages us to treat everyone with respect and kindness, no matter what their financial or social status may be. He reminds us that God looks at the heart of a person, not the outward appearance. We are all equal in God’s eyes and should show love and kindness to all.
