Yea, a man will say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith apart from [thy] works, and I by my works will show thee [my] faith.
Interpretation of James Chapter 2 Verse 18
James 2:18 is a call to believers to show their faith through their actions. James is emphasizing the importance of having a faith that is demonstrated through works. He is saying that it is not enough to simply believe in God; a person must also act in accordance with their faith. By doing good works, a person can demonstrate their faith and prove it to others. James is reminding believers that faith without works is dead, and that the only way to truly show faith is by living it out in everyday life.
