James 2:16
The Bible in James Chapter 2 Verse 16 says:
and one of you say unto them, Go in peace, be ye warmed and filled; and yet ye give them not the things needful to the body; what doth it profit?
Interpretation of James Chapter 2 Verse 16
James 2:16 is a rhetorical question to those who profess faith but do not show mercy or charity to those in need. The verse is warning believers not to speak empty words, but to back up their faith with action. It is reminding us that our faith should be demonstrated through our actions, and that simply saying something without offering help is of no use. The verse is also a reminder to be generous and compassionate to others, as is expected of all believers.
