Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 9 Verse 7
In Hebrews 9:7, the writer is describing the High Priest’s annual ritual of entering the Most Holy Place of the Tabernacle. He is to do this once a year, and he must bring with him blood, which he is to offer as a sacrifice for himself and the people of Israel. This sacrifice of blood is necessary to cleanse the people from their sins and make them acceptable before God. The blood of the sacrifice is a symbol of the perfect sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who offered himself as a perfect and pure sacrifice for our sins.
