Hebrews 9:17
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 9 Verse 17 says:
For a testament is of force where there hath been death: for it doth never avail while he that made it liveth.
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 9 Verse 17
In Hebrews 9:17, the author is discussing the importance of a testament. A testament is only valid and effective when the person making the testament has died.
