Hebrews 7:27
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 27 says:
who needeth not daily, like those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for his own sins, and then for the [sins] of the people: for this he did once for all, when he offered up himself.
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 27
In Hebrews 7:27, the author emphasizes the superiority of Jesus over the Levitical priesthood, who needed to offer sacrifices daily for their own sins and the sins of the people. Jesus, however, only needed to offer Himself once for all. His sacrifice was perfect and sufficient to pay for the sins of all people, providing a permanent solution to the problem of sin.
