Hebrews 7:16
The Bible in Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 16 says:
who hath been made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life:
Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 7 Verse 16
Hebrews 7:16 is referring to Jesus Christ and how He was made a high priest, not based on the requirements of the law, but based on the power of an eternal, never-ending life. Jesus is the only one who is able to offer a perfect, never-ending sacrifice for the sins of mankind. He is the only one who can guarantee an eternal salvation through His life, death and resurrection. Jesus was made a high priest based on the power of an endless life and His sacrifice is sufficient for all mankind.
