Interpretation of Hebrews Chapter 5 Verse 7
Hebrews 5:7 speaks of Jesus Christ, who was fully human and fully divine, when He walked the earth. He prayed and cried out to God with strong emotion and tears to be saved from death. God heard Jesus’ cries because of His reverence and fear of God. Jesus trusted in God to provide for Him and to save Him from death. This passage is an example of Jesus’ humanity, His faith in God, and His trust in God. It is a reminder for us to follow Jesus’ example and to trust in God in times of need.
